Iron Maiden Rock Band DLC

maiden666Finally, some DLC for Rock Band that I can sink my teeth into.  It's been a while since I have downloaded a full week's worth of DLC in one shot.  There has almost always been something I did not like.  Or, in the case of the Country Music Track Pack or the Pixies full album, something that I hate.  There was the Megadeth album "Peace Sells...But Who's Buying?", but since then the DLC has been so not to my taste that I downloaded nothing or so eclectic that there were only one or two songs that I wanted.

This week it's the surprise release of a 12-song pack from the British heavy metal giants Iron Maiden.

Fallout 3 DLC: Broken Steel

fallout3The latest DLC for Fallout 3 is entitled "Broken Steel" and picks up after the conclusion of the game's main storyline.  It also extends the level-cap from level 20 to level 30.  The sad part is that they released this installment last (following "Operation Anchorage" and "The Pitt"), so the hours of questing that I did after hitting level 20 are worthless.

I've now got to dig  through my save games and find one close to the end of the game and close to my ascension to level 20, so I can go back, finish the game and take advantage of the new level cap.  Looks like I hit level 20 around 75 hours into the game, and completed the next to last mission (Raven Rock) at around 90 hours.  That's 15 hours lost, plus the time to complete the last mission.  I'll just have to re-play the 50 hours of side-quests and DLC missions so I that experience will count toward the new cap.

Once more, my friends, into the wasteland!!
